Our mission is to serve the community by providing a comprehensive and nurturing environment for worship and learning — for both men and women.
We believe that Islam teaches us to be the best at everything we do, and our masjids should reflect the same.
At Masjid e Baqi, we recognize the importance of Islamic education and culture. We preserve, implement and disseminate the correct knowledge of Islam in shaping the lives of the community — particularly the younger generation, to become the future leaders.
Resident Scholar & Imam
Dr. Mufti Muhammad Azam Nadwi
A graduate of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow — with degrees from the University of Lucknow and Maulana Azad National Urdu University — Dr. Mufti Muhammad Azam Nadwi serves as Imam & Khateeb of Masjid e Baqi and teaches Hadith and Fiqh as faculty at Al-Ma’had al-Aali al-Islami, Hyderabad.
Under his guidance the masjid offers regular dars and bayans, the weekly series on common misconceptions about Islam, and the Seerah Solution series — knowledge derived from the Qur’an and Hadith, presented for life in the modern world.
